Read in Hindu that Air Deccan introduces flight between Blore and Madurai. We see many different routes being introduced new Airports being constructed and we feel proud about our development. We also see lot of new Cars entering into Indian market. We can see Indian economy pulsing like a heart beat vigorously.
Here in UK they are making all efforts to make people use public transport and people not to use flights. This I read in a newspaper which stated the fuel consumption per person by different modes of transport. Aeroplane tops the chart with public transport like bus or train comes at the bottom.
In this world where speed matters we cannot take a cattamaran to travel from Chennai to Pondicherry saying we want to save the world.
One thing looks clear as long as all the developing countries are aiming to become developed countries the amount of resources consumes is definitely going to increase per person. Unless otherwise we find alternate fuels we are in for some bad years to come.
I also read they are planning to use Water as a fuel for some automobiles (by producing Hydrogen). There are already enough nations suffering for lack of drinking water now if we start using water for fuel I can see that there wont be any sea.

i dont have one, i have to think hard to answer y people want to travel fast but they want to which makes it interesting. As Roophus Metilode once said "Universe is Vast time is limited"
