If you consider bus service in chennai sucks and if you are one who has sworn under your breath "In phoren bus services are lot better", then better take those words back. The moment you cross the borders of London city and you enter the greater London the bus service is equally worse or still worser. Especially the buses which ply through A30 to staines. There is supposed to be a total of six buses minimum to ply in this route at any hour during the day and rarely those buses make it on time testing each and every pore in your body.
There will be a timetable in each bustop announcing the time the bus will arrive at that busstop. You will notice buses in the stop at all other times other than the listed times. You will never know if it is a bus ahead of its time or if its a bus running late.
One thing is for sure greater london bus service sucks. Next time when you curse the bus service in chennai please hold it.

Just finished watching this movie and what a profound movie. This is my first Akira Kurosawa movie and I was simply blown away by the movie....

Chennai is different from london. In london, its the bus service that is poor. In chennai, its the commuters who make it poor.
London Buses are next famous to the London Bridge and the London clock tower. Uniform Red colored buses ar a treat to the eyes.

as long as you are in city center u escape but if u end up in the borders of London then its pathetic. Tubes services are better compared to buses but with the maintenance works tube services also go for a toss..
