ஏமாத்து வேலை

சென்னையில் எங்கே சென்றாலும் ஏமாந்து விடுவோமோ என்ற பயமே அதிகம் உள்ளது. சர்வீஸ் செய்யும் ஆளில் இருந்து விற்பனை செய்யும் ஆள் வரை அனைவரும் மர்மமான முறையிலேயே செயல்படுகின்றனர்.

ஓரு சின்ன உதாரணம் ஒரு பூ விற்கும் பெண்ணிடம் 3 முழம் பூ வாங்கினேன். கொடுக்கும் பொழுது "நல்லா கட்டியிருக்கேன், அடர்த்தியா" என்று கூறினார்கள். வாங்கி போய் பிரித்து பார்த்தால் வெறும் நார் தான் இருந்தது. இருந்த பூவும் உதிர்ந்து கொண்டே இருந்தது.

வாக்கும் க்ளீனர் சர்வீசுக்கு ஆள் கூப்பிட்டால் அவர் எல்லா விதமான மர்மமான வழிமுறைகளை கற்று தருகிறார்.

At no place we can do shopping confidently. Each salesperson one looks at us either like ilicha vaayan or he treats us like an earthworm. Whenever we ask for the price of an item the way they tell it never makes us confortable. I personally feel the prices of items should be fixed it should not be left to the bargaining skills of the buyer.
