One Two Three

Giving numbers is a lot better I have been to some gatherings where they do something more sinister. Now everyone with same number forms a group. You see in that group two guys know each other and there is one girl. You start thinking how the girl will be feeling to be among a crowd of guys. In your group there will be one guy who looks more mature he will start by saying let us introduce ourselves. He will show a restrained enthusiasm by which he means he wants to win by any means. You rehearse in your mind what to tell about you and what not. You notice carelessly when the girls talks about herself and feel jubiliant that she is a junior to you. When it is your chance you tall all that you didnt practice in you mind.
Now the conductor assigns some interesting !!! group excercises which you have to work it out with pure strangers. People in your team start talking most of which seem to you like "what one earth are they saying?". The mature guy suddenly forms an affinitiy with another guy and suddenly they both become the pilot and copilot of your team.
Finally the conductor wants each team to come and present. Everybody in the team expects the matured guy to go and present but the co pilot actually goes and presents the case. For some reason you feel your team did a good job but not the best job.
you check the time another 7.30 hrs to go ..
Let me stop here.
The point i am trying to make is why do they make people sit with some strangers. When you are in the company of known people you creativity will be high your performance will be high, you can enjoy the session. Contrarily in all the team gatherings they split you to sit with strangers saying you will get to know more people. In truth i will not be meeting the guy who was part of my team.
So why not let the groups be formed as per individual's wish and make everybody comfortable you can sure expect some interesting fireworks with everyong participating enthusiastically.
