Next

I recently read Michale Crichtons Next. After State of Fear this is his next work. Next was not upto the mark. Though it was better than his previous work this was also another not so good by him. The major drawback was there were far too many characters and branches to the story. You keep loosing track and what is happening. We can accept that if all those branches take us to a nail biting finish but there is nothing nail biting in this book.

We can also see that Crichton has started writing stories to be made into movies as there are many scenes in the story which we can feel are written only for hollywood producers. But I dont know if anyone would be willing to make this into a film as this one doesnt have a strong intersting story line.

Hoping his next work will bring out the old Crichton we are familiar with.
