Stock Markets is one of the most difficult games to play. When you think you have understood and make a move it will prove you wrong. People keep talking about long term bets on quality stocks but the challenge is identifying quality stocks. Yesterday's quality is not the same today or tomorrow. The one we think junk becomes a quality stock and the one we thought was a quality stock becomes a junk.
In the recent pandemic don't know why the market grew at the rate it grew. The stocks didn't grow at the rate the market was growing. Last few days when the market fell the stocks fall faster than the market.
The stocks I have sold at loss had risen 3X, 4X and the stocks I have retained has fallen. It doesn't make any sense. Still I have not given up. Hope one day the stocks I own will make me rich 🤑.
