Hogenekal

Again after few months Cauvery issue is back in the form of Hogenekal. We have read in some forward posts that next war will be in the name of water and it is happening. On the sidelines Rajini was pulled into this controversy. Last time when cauvery issue erupted Rajini's voice was the lone sane voice. Now this time the tamil filmdom followed Rajini's last time methodology of fasting. The whole thing then tunred to check if Rajini was for Tamil's side or Kanadigas side. They also said that Rajini has to support Tamilnadu as he is living here. If we apply the same logic everywhere all Indians in US should support US, all tamilians in Karnataka should support Karnataka. Now if that happens people will say they are not patriotic but they expected Rajini to do the same.

So did Rajini escape unscathed this time? Looks like the answer is yes. I listened to his speech and there was not a single line of acting. Whatever a common man feels he has echoed the same sentiments. He neither talked for Tamilnadu nor Karnataka. All he did was to put a sensible request. He asked our politicions to use their brain to solve this issue and also not make is an issue for the sake of elections. He asked everyone to be right.

Whatever we feel when we read news items in The Hindu Rajini has echoed the same sentiments through his speech.

But one thing is sure no one is going to change just because Rajini told. Whether it's Rajini or another X no one is ready to change. Rajini knows that and we know that. So what was the purpose of this fasting? It was just used as a tool by some people to gain some mileage out of this issue and tarnish Rajinis image. They wanted to strike two mangoes with one stone. But they didnt succeed in their attempt. Neither did they get any mileage nor they were able to tarnish Rajini's image.

Here is the link to Rajini's speech. Never have I seen him so angry. Good speech.

Tea Kadai

Yes in most of the roads I find they open a small tea shop and within no time I see the tea shop is heavily crowded. This proves there are lot of tea shop addicts in our country. Its not just the tea that attracts them. The ambience, the people there, the gossips available makes it a spot not to be missed. For a common man who doesnt have many forms of entertainmentents finds this spot very interesting. The moment you go to a tea shop he gets a sense of belonging. When the tea shop guy asks "இன்னா சார் வேணும்?" He feels comfortable that there is someone who is there to serve him in a friendly way. When he tries to strike a conversation the tea shop guy never forbids him instead he willingly provides him with more juicy stories.

The tea shops are also the most favorite spots for smokers. Smokers when riding through a highway by bike can never overcome the temptation to stop and have a smoke with tea. To buy cigerrates from such shops is another addictive phenomenon they cant escape.

Now this makes these tea shops a big nuisance. In all highways we suddenly encounter such spots where bikes, cars parked haphazzardly, people criss crossing the roads like headless chickens.

Though these tea shops helpes the owner of the shop as well as 1000's of guys who use it as an 5 minute escape solution for their problem it does cause problem to few people and the problem is indeed deadly.

Today when I was travelling through a highway an auto driver spotted such a tea shop and stopped his auto and crossed the road towards the shop as a dog runs towards a bone. He saw approaching traffic but with all smiles ran towards the shop. He escaped and survived the traffic.

Hello

Its been quite sometime since I wrote something in this blog. There are more than one reason for that. Here I have listed them in no particular order.

1) Laziness
2) No one is going to read kind of thought
3) The place from where I used to access blogger and post articles has banned accessing blogger site
4) My home system got corrupted and ekalappai font is not working properly any more.

I have now found out that blogger itself provides an option to post in many Indian languages. Now so what happened during the period of absence, nothing but more people irritated me on the road. Today a mammoth Ford Endeavour was going before me giving no space to overtake. When the road is narrow I never attempt to overtake like other cool bastards who care damn about the width of the road when overtaking. Now there I have to take left turn and I was happy that atlast I will have the road free to myself for sometime but alas the Ford too turned in the same direction irritated me till the last point to my home. But that's ok the guy didnt drive rash.

Many IT guys now own car and today as I was returning home a red tata indica முட்டாள் drove like a serpent was inside his pants (I mean a real snake not the one you think). We also see Tata indica call taxi drivers drive rashly. Those guys are uneducated beedi guys. So what difference has education made? The IT idiot as well as the beedi wala both drive keeping their brains safely at their home.

On enough is enough here is a pic of Mena Suvari to cool down

Vellithirai

I saw Vellithirai last friday. I am a fan of Prithviraj after his Kana Kandein. The movie starts off well. It shows a struggling upcoming director (Prithviraj) and a guy who would liked to become a hero and only hero (Prakashraj).

The scenes which shows their desperateness are shot well. They are realistic. The movie takes downhill when it starts to go against what it preaches. The movie preaches that all movies should be realistic and nothing should be cinematic.

Once Prakashraj steals Pritviraj's story the story becomes highly cinematic. It shows Prakashraj becoming a heart throb with just one movie. He starts ignoring Pritvi.

There's a parallel story line about love between Pritvi and Gopika which is not that interesting.

Finally how Pritvi converts Prakash into a good man as well as achieves his dream forms the rest of the story. Though its innovative its highly cinematic.

I neither found it artistic nor commercial. But for Prithviraj and Prakashraj the film has nothing new to offer.

Median Flags

Few days back two guys were knocked down in GST road in early morning hours when they were removing the party flags from the road median after their purpose was over. The lorry which knocked them down was not expecting anyone to be in the middle of the road at that time of the day. The flag which was being removed was of DMK.

After this incident there was not any message from the government in banning putting flags in medians. Ya what else can we expect from our sweet politicians.

Today when driving through OMR I saw DMK flags planted in yet to be completed medians. Few days back I saw flags of DMDK (Vijayakanth's party) planted in medians around Vadapalani.

What wrong with this? They spoil an already poorly constructed medians. they dont care whether its concrete median or not. They break it to put their fucking flag. The medians which are already the target of guys who wants to cross the road anywhere they want now is target by these flag planitng guys. Instead if they plant real plants it will atleast serve some purpose. This is pure common sense which is not displayed by the oldest politician till the latest politician.

After an accident also nothing is happening means its really pathetic. It will also defenitely cause problems to motorists. I dont think these flags are legal. Dont know why the traffic constable walla's dont remove these flags. Ya they are busy in collecting their mamul.

Solution - The solution could be top permanently put flags of these parties in medians. Strong posts with cement foundation the flags wont cause problem to any one. All party flags can thus be planted in all medians so these politicians can have a happy fucking smile on their face.
